Project JPA - Java Process Automation API Version 1.3.x
Copyright (C) 2001-2002 by Softhema and their authors
All rights reserved.
It is forbidden to disassembly the object code in the packages of the JPA-API.
Redistribution of the softhema.system.automation package is permitted provided
that the following conditions are met:
You must distribute all of the following files:
license_jpa_1-3.html
jpautomation_1-3-x_*.jar
jpautomation_1-3-x_*.dll
psapi.dll
The files jpautomation_1-3-x_*.jar and jpautomation_1-3-x_*.dll may not be offered in the internet for free downloading. In addition, the files may also not be offered in the internet for downloading as included files in freeware-, shareware or demo versions of your programs. However, it is permitted to distribute jpautomation_1-3-x_demo_*.jar and jpautomation_1-3-x_demo_*.dll files of the JPA demo-version in your freeware, shareware and demo programs.
The integration of the JPA-API should be such that your application remains platform independent.
If the JPA-API should not be available on your operating system,
then your application should be nevertheless executable.
With the JPA-API, optional functionalities can be added under a supported platform.
On another platform these additional functionalities are deactivated.
For example, your application needs configuration information.
Under Windows this information is stored in the Windows-Registry.
Through the JPA-API, the configuration information of the Registry can be accessed.
On another platform the JPA-API is not available. In this case
the user must enter the configuration information.
This enables the application to be platform independent.
The demo-version is limited:
When starting, a message appears to indicate its a demo-version.
After one hour the execution is blocked with a message.
During this one hour, each method-call of the JPA-API can be blocked randomly.
For distribution of the files in the demo-version you need also a valid JPA-API license. In all cases of distribution, the acquired license number must be stated. Additionally the license number is integrated in the jar-file of the full-version.
You must redistribute the package in object code form only (as Java .class files or a .jar file containing the .class files) and only as part of a product that uses the classes as part of its primary functionality.
You reproduce the above copyright notice, this list of conditions, and the
following disclaimer in the documentation and/or other materials provided
with the distribution. To clarify, you may use the softhema.system.automation
package to build new software and may distribute the package in object code
form as part of this software. You may NOT distribute the package as part
of a software development kit, other library, or development tool without
consent of the copyright holder. Any modified form of the softhema.system.automation
package is bound by these same restrictions. (I don't want multiple versions
making the rounds.)
You may NOT change the package path softhema.system.automation.
Note that the softhema.system.automation package is provided "as is" and the
author will not be liable for any damages suffered as a result of your use.
Furthermore, you understand the package comes without
any technical support.
